Our open studio policy welcomes parents to view their child’s dance class through large observation windows. This allows you not only to see the progress your child makes throughout the year but more importantly parents get to see and share in the joy the child has while learning dance. We love teaching and do not mind you watching.
We only ask that you are not disruptive or a distraction to students or teachers while in front of the observation windows.
There are no refunds or credits for lessons missed. Please do not adjust your monthly tuition for missed classes. Payments received with the incorrect amount will be charged the $15.00 late fee. If you know in advance that you will be missing a lesson for any reason please let us know. Dancers may attend a like class as a make-up class for approved missed lessons or called in illness. Extended absences need to be discussed and can be worked with. Regular attendance is a must in order to get the most out of your classes.
Luminary Dance Academy’s lobby is open during class operating hours. Family and friends may stay and observe class through the viewing windows. If it ever becomes a distraction for the students or the teacher, the curtains may be closed on the viewing windows. We ask that everyone work together to help keep the lobby clean by picking up after themselves and storing all bags, shoes, jackets, etc in the dressing room, cubbies, or against the wall. Please keep conversations appropriate and positive while at Luminary Dance Academy. We have one dressing room and one private bathroom available for student use. Please no changing in the bathroom.
